To display our learning from the Beach Education Day, we make a poster showing ourselves at the beach having "safe" fun.
We are swimming between the flags, not too far out were the lifeguards can see us and we are swimming with a friend and an adult watching.
Nice and cool.
This term so far, we have been doing our self portraits. Instead of the usual 'try to draw ourselves' we drew inspiration from Pablo Picasso.

Why I Love Living in Tauranga by Miyah

I love living in Tauranga because they have lots of hot pools and there is Marshall's Animal Farm and they have lots of ostriches and birds. I enjoy the libraries and I love to read books. There is a lot of skateparks and there is lovely views and mountains. We get an ice-cream after we have walked up The Mount. I love Tauranga.
Why I Love Living In Tauranga by Zach
I love living in Tauranga because I like looking at the birds and my Nana is not that far away. Me and my Dad like to go climbing on rocks and going to the library. I like getting chapter books. I like going to the hot pools. It is warm. I like going to Tahatai Coast School.
